EW Testing

EW system performance verification using field RF environment emulation.

It worked well in an echo-free laboratory, but you may have experienced several systems that showed unexpected performance in the field.

This is because the synthetic RF of the laboratory does not reflect fidelity, complexity, and reality in simulating the actual field electromagnetic operating environment (EMOE).

Unless you plan to place an RF system in an echo-free room, the test should be conducted in the same environment in which the actual system operates.

Commonly used RF test equipment, such as vector signal generator (VSG) or radar simulator, cannot produce high-density, congested EMOEs close to reality.

D-TA's EMOE emulation recording and reproduction system can be controlled at up to 1 GHz IBW in the 1 MHz–40 GHz frequency band and signal generation and reproduction from unlimited storage devices without repeatedly reproducing the same data.

EW system test using MRSE-5000

The I/Q data streaming method has significant advantages compared to the existing DDS-based approach.

The DDS method relies on PDW data that can generate only one signal at a time to generate radar pulses

Communication signals, radars, interference signals, and noise signals may be expressed as I/Q time series data.

The I/Q streaming method allows overlapping regardless of how many time series data there are, and allows unlimited emeters to be generated in each frequency band without missing signals.

This makes it easy to create a crowded electromagnetic environment that reflects a real threat environment that includes various signals.
